About me

I’ve spent over 20 years working with healthcare organizations, nonprofits, local governments, and small businesses in writing and marketing.

During the day,  I’m a Marketing Coordinator for the Charles County Economic Development Department, promoting our county that is a part of the DC Metro Area through social media, web updates, press releases, and general marketing efforts. Prior to that, I worked five years with an association for hepatologists. My most recent freelance project included a website redesign for my hometown, the City of Brazil.

I’m a “transplant” from Indiana and moved to Southern Maryland in 2004 after marrying my husband, a native of Sri Lanka and astrophysicist. My interests include economic development, healthcare, Sri Lankan cooking, and travel.
